Job Summary

This role is for an Onsite IT Technician based in Munich, supporting the client environments of prominent industrial companies across Germany. The position focuses on managing the complete IT product lifecycle, specializing in Device as a Service. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing inventory levels for the customer service point, provisioning and deploying loaner notebooks according to specifications, and providing these devices (including iPhones and iPads) to customers. You will also offer phone support during mobile rollout initiatives, coordinate appointments, and assist the central service point directly on the customer's campus. Key requirements include completed vocational training in the IT field, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, strong knowledge of hardware for PCs, notebooks, and mobile devices, and a Class B driver's license. Good German language skills are essential for effective client communication. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the IT field, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent qualification (Desirable)

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware maintenance and troubleshooting (PCs, notebooks, mobile devices)
  • Experience in device provisioning and deployment
  • Experience supporting mobile rollout initiatives
  • Advantageous experience using IT service management tools (e.g., Valuemation, HP Service Manager)
