Job Summary
This role involves leading a team of electrical specialists within the Property Service Center of two prestigious universities in Weimar, Germany. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of diverse electrical systems across 61 properties, including modern laboratories and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Key responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing construction, repair, and maintenance of low-voltage, medium-voltage, emergency power, and fire alarm systems, as well as managing electrical projects from planning to execution according to HOAI phases. This position requires a proactive, analytical professional with strong leadership and communication skills, offering a stable work environment, competitive salary, and flexible working arrangements.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable field
- Practical experience in planning and construction supervision of low-voltage, emergency power, and safety lighting systems
- Professional experience and knowledge in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of electrical systems
- Experience in employee leadership
