Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a dedicated Commissioning Engineer and Service Technician to join the team in Chemnitz. The core responsibilities involve the full lifecycle commissioning of specialized machinery used for manufacturing textile threads from polymer plastics, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and software components. Day-to-day tasks include performing acceptance runs, managing machine handover, providing comprehensive training to customer operating personnel, and executing complex troubleshooting. The role also requires collaboration with the Research and Development department on product advancement and testing. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or a technical vocational qualification complemented by relevant experience, preferably with further qualification as a certified technician. Essential technical skills include proficiency in PLC programming and drive parameterization, alongside strong English skills and an unrestricted willingness to travel worldwide.
