Job Summary

This critical leadership role requires taking strategic overall responsibility for the Quality Management department within a major German dairy company. The Head of QM will lead the QM team, ensuring continuous compliance with various quality standards (including IFS, Bio, and Halal), and actively developing and harmonizing digital QM systems suitable for a 24/7 operation. A core function is acting as the central liaison between all departments to drive continuous process improvement, balancing efficiency gains with quality awareness. Key responsibilities also include serving as the primary contact for quality issues with suppliers, customers, and authorities, leading the crisis management team, and ensuring adherence to food law, including active participation in the HACCP team. The ideal candidate must possess multi-year leadership experience in food processing, expertise in raw milk handling, and a relevant technical qualification or university degree in the food sector, along with strong communication and entrepreneurial skills.
