Job Summary

This role is a long-term, full-time opportunity within the Repair Service team at FUJIFILM Electronic Imaging Europe GmbH, located in Kleve. The Optical Device Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a diverse range of optical equipment, including TV-Broadcast, Cine lenses, CCTV lenses, and binoculars. A core part of the job involves providing technical customer support, answering repair and maintenance queries via phone, email, and in-person. Furthermore, the technician will offer technical assistance to the Sales department, including conducting product demonstrations at trade fairs and providing on-site support at major international events like the Olympics or World Championships. Candidates must possess a background in Electrical Engineering or related fields, extensive knowledge of soldering and fine mechanics, and fluent proficiency in both German and English to effectively communicate technical details to customers. This position offers a varied workload, flexible hours, and significant development potential in a modern, international environment.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Information Electronics, or Radio and Television Technology, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Successful completion of vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Information Electronics, or Radio and Television Technology, or equivalent qualification

  • Professional experience with various soldering techniques
