Job Summary

This Research Associate position, situated within the Cluster of Excellence “Responsible Electronics in the Climate Change Era (REC²)” at TUD Dresden, focuses on developing sustainable electronic systems. The core responsibilities include the fabrication of metal oxide and organic thin films using solution-processing methods, followed by the production of transistor device structures. You will be expected to thoroughly characterize the resulting devices both morphologically and electrically, utilizing techniques such as I-V, C-V, and C-f. A key innovative task involves developing schemes for the reuse or triggered disassembly of individual device layers, collaborating specifically on dissolvable field effect transistors (DFETs). Candidates must possess an outstanding Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field, coupled with prior experience in thin film electronic device fabrication and basic semiconductor physics knowledge. This role offers a structured pathway to obtaining a PhD within a highly ambitious, interdisciplinary research environment.
