Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive administration and optimization of the IT infrastructure for the Medical School Brandenburg (MHB). The specialist will manage the entire network and server landscape, covering both On-Premise and Cloud environments, utilizing both Windows and Linux systems to ensure seamless operation. Core daily tasks include monitoring data backups, performing regular recovery tests, and diligently maintaining system documentation. Furthermore, the specialist is expected to actively contribute to exciting IT projects focused on infrastructure development and provide essential 1st and 2nd level support as necessary. Successful candidates must hold a relevant IT degree or vocational training (System Integration focus), possess a minimum of five years of professional experience, and demonstrate familiarity with enterprise networking providers (Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti) and key tools like VMWare, Veeam, and the M365 suite. The position offers an unlimited contract, flexible working hours, and the option for mobile work within a dynamic team on a green campus.
