Job Summary

This part-time position (50-70%), based in Konstanz, is situated within the Finance and Accounting department of a major non-profit welfare organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for core financial operations, including the preparation and creation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB). Key daily tasks involve managing liquidity planning, capitalizing fixed assets, and accurately booking various business transactions, such as bank, intercompany, and rebookings using the SKR04 chart of accounts. You will also serve as a deputy technical expert for the accounting software. We are seeking candidates who have completed training as a Certified Accountant or Tax Specialist, though entry-level professionals are strongly encouraged to apply. Essential qualifications include strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and practical experience with modern accounting software.
