Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced PLC Programmer to join an expanding team across multiple locations in Germany, focusing on complex projects in special machine and plant construction. Day-to-day responsibilities include the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and PLC programming for both new installations and modernization (retrofit) projects, through to the design and implementation of system visualizations. A critical component of the job involves the worldwide commissioning of automated systems and subsequent troubleshooting of existing installations. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, or an equivalent technician qualification, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in plant automation. Essential technical skills include proficiency with Siemens tools like TIA Portal, SIMATIC S7, and WinCC. The position requires strong communication skills, fluency in German (C1), good English (B2), and a willingness to travel globally up to 30%.
