Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Chemical Process Technician to join an innovative team focusing on the pilot production of new Lyocell fiber technologies in Lenzing. The core responsibilities involve the safe operation, control, and monitoring of Lyocell pilot plants according to internal guidelines and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include supporting the commissioning and decommissioning of plant systems, conducting necessary trials, detailed documentation, and performing troubleshooting for disturbances. Furthermore, the technician will execute routine cleaning and minor maintenance work. The successful candidate is expected to actively contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement projects within the plant operations. Key requirements include a completed technical apprenticeship, ideally in chemical process engineering or a related field, basic experience with production or pilot plants (advantageous), and a strong willingness to work in a demanding 5-shift system. This position offers long-term security and an attractive schedule providing four consecutive days off.
