Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Commercial Employee specializing in Accounting, joining a family-run, mid-sized company in Wolfsburg focused on automation, control technology, and plant construction. The core responsibilities include the accurate checking, coding, and posting of business transactions, performing account reconciliation, and managing various regulatory filings like VAT pre-registration and statistics. You will also be responsible for executing payment transactions, monitoring outstanding receivables, and managing the dunning process. A crucial part of the job involves supporting and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The ideal candidate must possess a completed qualification as a Tax Clerk or equivalent financial accounting training, coupled with expertise in German tax law and accounting standards. Proficiency in standard accounting software like DATEV or SAGE100 is required, alongside strong communication skills and a precise, structured work ethic.
