Job Summary

This crucial role involves defining, documenting, and coordinating safety requirements throughout the development lifecycle for an international client in the Friedrichshafen area. The Functional Safety Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, creating, and implementing both functional and technical safety concepts. Key daily activities include conducting comprehensive risk and hazard analyses, calculating crucial safety values, and developing robust concepts to ensure compliance with technical safety requirements. Furthermore, you will manage communication with all involved partners across the entire safety lifecycle. Candidates must hold a university degree in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Informatics, coupled with fluent German and English language skills. Knowledge of safety standards such as IEC 61508 and EN ISO 13849 is highly advantageous, positioning this as a vital, permanent role within an internationally operating company.
