Job Summary

This role involves specialized electrical engineering planning focused on overhead catenary systems within the German railway infrastructure (DB InfraGO AG). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical plans for maintenance and investment projects, including complex station and route conversions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections to gain an overview of planned railway crossings, coordinating continuously with clients and other technical disciplines to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets, and advising internal and external colleagues on technical requirements. Key qualifications include a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification (or a Master/Technician certification). Ideal candidates possess initial experience in overhead catenary systems planning, strong CAD skills (MicroStation, AutoCAD), and demonstrate a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach to complex projects while maintaining a strong focus on quality and deadlines.
