Job Summary

This crucial hands-on role involves working within the testing field, specializing in electrical engineering and control panel construction. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving, setting up, and connecting control cabinets to auxiliary power supplies for testing. The technician will perform detailed wiring of test modules based on specified requirements, support various acceptance tests, and contribute to special projects, including the construction of prototypes and test rigs. A core function is conducting mandatory inspections according to DIN EN 61439 standards, encompassing visual checks, insulation testing, leakage current testing, and protective conductor testing, before preparing the cabinets for shipment. Candidates must possess a completed electrician apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, coupled with a minimum of three years of professional experience in electrical engineering. Strong knowledge of electrical system measurement and testing, along with the ability to read circuit diagrams, is essential. The role requires fluency in German and the capability to be appointed as an Electrically Skilled Person (DGUV).
