Job Summary

The HMI Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Human-Machine Interface systems, focusing on technical specification, development, and maintenance of HMI software. Key daily tasks include coordinating functional and visual concepts with internal teams, customers, and suppliers, configuring the central reporting system, and integrating and testing HMI components in the test setup in Erlangen. You will ensure seamless configuration and functionality, supporting acceptance tests and providing technical assistance during on-site commissioning. This role requires a completed degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, coupled with solid professional experience in HMI project planning, ideally using Copa Data Zenon. Expertise in critical control system protocols like IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, OPC, and DNP is essential.
