Job Summary

This position is for an ambitious Wiring Harness Design Engineer focused on connecting people and technologies for key clients in the automotive sector. Day-to-day responsibilities center on the 3D-CAD-supported design and construction of wiring harnesses. You will maintain close coordination with clients regarding assembly requirements and product specifications, and actively support both new product launches and model year changes. A critical component of the role involves coordinating the introduction of new parts, conducting process capability studies, and accompanying package and installation investigations. Furthermore, you will assist in developing technical concepts, bids, specifications, and documentation, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, possess professional experience in designing automotive serial parts (wiring harnesses/on-board networks), and demonstrate excellent proficiency with CATIA V5, along with fluent German and English skills.
