Job Summary

This role involves working as a Development Engineer focused on Electrical Engineering within the demanding field of shipbuilding and marine technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive planning of energy supply and marine technology systems. Core day-to-day tasks include developing and designing specialized operating equipment, integrating complex electronic and mechatronic systems, and handling the specification and procurement of necessary electrical equipment. A significant part of the role is dedicated to conceptual planning and comparison for electrical power generation and distribution, ensuring both technical feasibility and commercial viability. Furthermore, the engineer will conduct detailed analyses of existing electrical plants and devices. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with fluent German and good English skills.
