Job Summary

This role is designed for technically skilled professionals seeking a career change into the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on the industrial-scale manufacturing of biotechnological proteins and antibodies under strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and monitoring complex process systems such as ultra- and diafiltration units and automated freezing/thawing equipment. The specialist will also be responsible for preparing buffer solutions, ensuring the cleaning and sterilization of process equipment, and optimizing packaging lines, including independent troubleshooting. A key requirement is a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., in biotech, chemistry, brewing, or mechatronics) and the mandatory willingness to work in a continuous 3-shift system, including weekends and holidays. The position demands strong manual dexterity, adherence to high hygiene standards, and fluent German language skills for comprehensive electronic documentation.

Completed vocational training as a Bio-specialist, Production Specialist for Biotechnology/Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technician, Chemical Technician, Brewer, Maltster, Dairy Specialist, Baker, Specialist for Fruit Juice Technology, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable qualification.

Experience
