Engineer Electrical and Automation Technology | Ingenieur Elektro- und Automatisierungstechnik (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves the planning and integration of electrical systems and automation technology, focusing heavily on maritime applications, particularly naval vessels. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing construction specifications for electrical systems, coordinating and testing interfaces between various technical systems, and providing technical support to procurement and project managers. The engineer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining bills of materials and equipment lists. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses knowledge of public sector development processes for hardware and software (such as V-Model XT), and has a strong interest in automation systems and switchgear technology for marine ships. Prior experience in the shipbuilding industry is desirable, and very good German language skills are required for effective communication within the role.
