Job Summary

This role is an immediate opening for an Electrician for Operational Technology, supporting a key partner company responsible for maintaining the urban infrastructure of Leipzig. The successful candidate will be focused on the maintenance, inspection, and repair of critical electrical systems essential for city operations. Core daily tasks include performing necessary switching operations, conducting maintenance on medium voltage and DC systems, and servicing electrical infrastructure related to track control, signaling, and tram overhead line systems. You will also be responsible for executing mechanical connections using bolting techniques and operating electrical hand tools. Ideal candidates will possess completed vocational training as an Industrial Electrician or Mechatronics Technician, or significant professional experience covering the required tasks. Very good written and spoken German skills, along with a team-oriented, flexible, and reliable approach, are essential for securing this long-term, stable position.
