Job Summary
Join Stadtwerke Wiesbaden Netz GmbH, the network operator ensuring continuous power flow in Wiesbaden and Taunusstein, as an Electrical Technician for Medium and Low Voltage Networks. This essential role focuses on the construction, maintenance, and operation of critical power infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include performing cable assembly and repair work across medium and low voltage networks, testing MV cables, and handling LV distributions, sometimes under live conditions. You will also be responsible for the new setup, conversion, and maintenance of substations, troubleshooting faults, and carrying out switching operations in the LV network. The position requires a completed professional qualification in electrical engineering, ideally coupled with experience in MV/LV networks and knowledge of relevant VDE regulations. A Class B driving license and participation in the on-call rotation are mandatory prerequisites for this vital role.
Required Skills
Education
Completed professional training as an Electrician, Electrical Plant Installer, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or electrical plant installation
- Experience in Medium and Low Voltage Networks (advantageous)
