Job Summary
This permanent, full-time Systems Engineer role in Düsseldorf focuses on the development and optimization of cutting-edge Embedded Systems. The core responsibilities include designing and implementing embedded software using C/C++ for prototypes, specifically managing solenoid valve control, sensor integration, and complex control algorithms. The engineer will be crucial in the product lifecycle, drafting detailed specifications (requirements/design documents) for serial development, supporting rigorous validation and EMC testing, and conducting various electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical system optimizations. Candidates must possess a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science, coupled with deep expertise in embedded software development (ideally including RTOS). Excellent command of both German and English, strong communication and coordination skills, and practical experience with measurement and test equipment (oscilloscope, debugger) are prerequisites for success in this quality-focused, collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Embedded Software Development (C/C++)
- Experience controlling actuators, sensors, or comparable embedded systems
- Proficient handling of measurement and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, debugger)
- Experience communicating and coordinating with external electronics developers
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) (desirable)
