Job Summary
This role involves serving as the central IT System Administrator for a vibrant educational institution, actively shaping its digital future. The administrator will provide crucial First and Second-Level support to students, teachers, and staff, ensuring smooth operations across all IT systems, from stable networks to digital learning platforms. Key responsibilities include managing a virtual server environment (VMware), administering the Microsoft 365/Exchange Online suite, and maintaining network components (Cisco switches/WLAN APs) and the Lexmark printer fleet. The position also requires expertise in Mobile Device Management (MDM) using Jamf School for iPads and NinjaOne for Windows clients. Candidates should possess a relevant IT qualification, strong knowledge of virtualization, M365, and networking, coupled with excellent service orientation and communication skills. Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable professional experience
- Professional experience with virtualization technologies (ideally VMware)
- Professional experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange
- Professional experience in network administration (Cisco)
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (Jamf School and/or NinjaOne is advantageous)
