Job Summary

This specialized role focuses on the conceptual design, commissioning, and maintenance of protection systems within industrial medium voltage (MV) networks. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed wiring diagrams for the construction and modification of MV switchgear, as well as programming, testing, and parameterizing protection relays using modern test equipment. The technician is also responsible for the on-site commissioning of MV switchgear and associated protection technology at customer locations. A critical component of the job involves performing fault analysis, troubleshooting, and conducting maintenance and repair on electrical energy supply systems, including transformers. Candidates must have completed electrical engineering training and possess relevant professional experience in medium voltage environments, coupled with strong knowledge of protection technology.
