Job Summary

This role seeks a Medium Voltage Protection Technician to join WISAG Elektrotechnik, a leading service provider specializing in industrial power supply systems across Germany. The core responsibilities involve conceptualizing and designing robust protection systems for medium voltage networks. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed circuit diagrams for new and modified medium voltage switchgear, followed by the crucial work of programming, parameterizing, and testing protection relays using state-of-the-art equipment. A significant part of the job is the on-site commissioning of medium voltage switchgear and associated protection technology at client locations. Candidates must also perform maintenance, repair, fault analysis, and troubleshooting on electrical energy supply systems, including transformers. Required qualifications include a completed electrical engineering apprenticeship and relevant professional experience in medium voltage environments and protection technology.
