Job Summary

This role is centered on ensuring the successful deployment of future-proof and sustainable large energy storage solutions for commercial, industrial, and grid infrastructure clients. As a Commissioning Technician, your core responsibilities involve taking newly installed energy storage systems into operation, conducting comprehensive commissioning protocols, and performing component parameterization and communication setup using specified software (e.g., Wago e!Cockpit, Codesys). A critical part of the job is detailed fault analysis and resolution through software and configuration adjustments, acting as a key link to the programming department for continuous system improvement. The ideal candidate possesses a background in electrical or mechatronic fields, coupled with initial professional experience in inverter and battery technology, and expertise in PLC programming and industrial communication protocols like Modbus TCP/IP. This position offers significant flexibility, combining site work with home office capabilities, requires a high willingness to travel, and includes a modern company car available for private use.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship as Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician; or further training as Master Craftsman or Technician; or degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in inverter and battery technology
  • Professional experience with Technical Connection Rules (TAR), process engineering, and automation
  • Professional experience in PLC programming, Modbus TCP/IP, and classic battery applications (e.g., self-consumption, peak shaving, island grid, and control power)
