This role involves the crucial commissioning and handover of large-scale energy storage systems (ESS) following successful installation, contributing directly to sustainable energy solutions for commercial, industrial, and grid infrastructure clients. The successful candidate will perform detailed fault analysis, troubleshoot issues through software and configuration adjustments (using tools like Wago e!Cockpit, Codesys, Pilz, and Hekatron), and act as a technical extension of the programming department to continuously improve plant control systems. Key qualifications include a background in electrical engineering or related technical fields, coupled with initial experience in inverter and battery technology, PLC programming, and Modbus TCP/IP communication. This position offers significant flexibility, including home office options, a modern company car for private use, and a minimum of 30 days of vacation, making it an attractive opportunity for highly motivated professionals with a high willingness to travel.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training (Electrician, Electronic Technician, Mechatronics Technician), or Master Craftsman/Technician qualification, or a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in inverter and battery technology
  • Professional experience in technical connection rules (TAR), process technology, and automation
  • Expertise in PLC programming and Modbus TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience with classical battery applications (e.g., peak shaving, island grid, control power)
