Job Summary

This role is centered on the commissioning and handover of large-scale, sustainable energy storage systems for commercial, industrial, and grid infrastructure clients. The successful candidate will execute detailed commissioning protocols, perform component parameterization, and manage communication connections using specialized software tools like Wago e!Cockpit and Codesys. Key daily activities include performing detailed fault analyses, implementing software and configuration adjustments to resolve issues, and collaborating closely with the programming department to continuously enhance plant control systems. Candidates must possess a strong background in electrical engineering or related technical fields, combined with initial professional experience in inverter and battery technology, PLC programming, and Modbus TCP/IP. The position offers flexible working arrangements, including home office capability, but requires a high willingness to travel to project sites.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician (Techniker), or Electrical Engineering degree

Experience

  • First professional experience in inverter and battery technology
  • Professional experience in Technical Connection Rules (TAR)
  • Professional experience in process engineering and automation
  • Know-how in PLC programming
  • Know-how in Modbus TCP/IP and classical battery applications (e.g., self-consumption, peak shaving, island grid, and control power)
