Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Systems Technician specializing in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Process Control Technology (PLT) systems within a major petrochemical corporation. Key responsibilities include fault resolution, signal tracing, and the configuration of various transmitters for pressure, temperature, and flow measurements. The technician will also perform wiring and marshalling tasks in control cabinets, work with standard unit signals (4-20mA, 0-10V), and maintain PLT control devices like valves and actuators. Candidates must possess a completed qualification such as a Process Control Electronics Technician or Automation Technology Electrician, coupled with several years of professional experience in PLT system maintenance. Strong foundational knowledge in MSR (Measurement, Control, and Regulation) and general electrical engineering is essential.
