Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced PLC Programmer to join a family-owned company specializing in machinery and plant engineering for the beverage industry, including breweries, dairies, and mineral springs. Day-to-day responsibilities involve participating in the project planning of machine and plant control systems, creating plant-specific PLC software, and programming Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems for intuitive operation. A critical component of the job is the national and international commissioning of the newly installed systems at customer sites, followed by training customer employees on functionality and operation. Candidates must possess 5–10 years of professional experience in PLC programming, a relevant technical degree or training (such as Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology), and proven proficiency with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal. This position offers challenging and varied international projects and requires a high degree of reliability and willingness to travel.
