Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineer or Technician specializing in the technical planning and design of complex power supply systems for industrial clients in Wiesloch. Key responsibilities include analyzing existing electrical infrastructure, developing comprehensive supply concepts for medium voltage, low voltage, and emergency power systems, and creating detailed documentation using specialized planning tools like EPLAN, Caneco BT, and Simaris. You will be responsible for technical clarification with customers and interdisciplinary teams, drafting technical specifications, and ensuring execution aligns with planning. The position involves monitoring installation work, reviewing documentation, and participating in commissioning and acceptance testing as the technical expert. The ideal candidate holds a degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, possesses several years of professional experience in electrical systems planning (ideally Cost Group 440), and has deep knowledge of relevant industry standards (DIN VDE, EN 61439). Strong communication skills and fluent German are essential for success in this critical technical position.

Experience

  • Experience in Cost Group 440 (Electrical Systems Costing) preferred
  • Experience in planning and design of medium-voltage and transformer systems (preferred)
  • Experience in planning and design of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and emergency power systems (preferred)
