Job Summary

This role is pivotal in ensuring the stable, secure, and available operation of the Telematics Infrastructure (TI) for the German healthcare system, contributing directly to digital health products like the ePrescription and ePatient File. The IT Architect will work closely with product teams from the outset to integrate operational requirements early in the development lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition to the production environment. Key responsibilities include defining the architectural roadmap for the Telematics Platform, translating operational strategy into IT architecture, and integrating 'Operate-by-Design' principles throughout product development phases. This requires strong technical understanding of IT architectures, infrastructure, security, and the ability to simplify complex processes. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant technical or business field, multi-year operational experience, and excellent communication skills in both German and English to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
