Job Summary

This role within TÜV Rheinland's Industry Service and Cybersecurity division is ideal for an experienced engineer ready to shape the future of industrial technology, focusing on digitalization and renewable energy projects. The core responsibility involves conducting rigorous inspections and assessments for the manufacturing and operation of complex energy systems, including steam boiler facilities in power plants, pressure vessels, and equipment in hazardous areas, ensuring strict adherence to current laws and standards. You will independently manage and cultivate client relationships, driving new customer acquisition, and preparing detailed technical reports, expert opinions, and statements. Candidates must possess a relevant engineering degree and at least three years of industry experience in the maintenance, operation, or inspection of pressure equipment. Extensive training is provided to achieve certification as a recognized expert assessor if not already certified, making this an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a critical infrastructure sector.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Power Plant Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Materials Technology, or a comparable field of study. Recognition as a certified expert assessor is preferred, otherwise willingness to undergo training for this qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in the planning, manufacturing, operation, maintenance, or inspection of pressure equipment/systems
  • Professional experience in customer support and new customer acquisition
  • Experience in creating technical reports, expert opinions, and statements
