Job Summary
The Municipality of Bad Zwischenahn is seeking a Certified Technician for a challenging, full-time, one-year fixed-term position within the municipal utility (Gemeindewerke) focusing on water and sewage systems. This role centers on property drainage and civil engineering tasks. Key responsibilities include calculating, advising on, and inspecting private rainwater retention systems, processing drainage applications, and conducting on-site checks of property drainage facilities. The technician will provide expert consultation to architects, construction companies, and builders during new construction, modification, and renovation projects. Essential qualifications include a certification as a Technician in Environmental Technology (specializing in wastewater, waste, or water supply) or Civil Engineering (specializing in civil engineering), or extensive experience as a Master Craftsman in sewer or civil engineering. Strong GIS, database management skills, negotiation abilities, and a high degree of responsibility are required for success in this demanding public service role.

Experience
- Professional experience in property drainage and sewerage is desirable
