Job Summary
The German Weather Service (DWD) is seeking a dedicated Facility Management professional in Munich to oversee the technical operations and maintenance of its properties. This role involves the critical responsibility of monitoring and operating Technical Building Equipment (TGA), specifically ensuring the continuous functionality of electro-technical systems and implementing immediate corrective measures during faults or disturbances. A core part of the job is robust contractor management, including commissioning repair work, enforcing safety regulations for external firms, and formally accepting completed services. Furthermore, the role requires developing detailed service specifications, calculating costs for TGA projects, and managing energy consumption across the facilities. Candidates must possess either a state-certified Technician degree or a Master Craftsman qualification in relevant fields like Electrical or Building Technology, coupled with at least two years of professional experience. Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience following required technical qualification
- Professional experience in monitoring and operating technical building equipment (TGA)
- Experience in managing external contractors and accepting services
- Experience with power supply, UPS, NEA systems, HVAC, sanitary, fire alarm, security, and access control technology (Desirable)
