Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Laboratory Technician to join a leading supplier of white fillers and pigments in Cologne. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting crucial physical and chemical investigations on various industrial materials, including fillers, flame retardants, pigments, and plastic additives. Day-to-day tasks involve creating detailed test reports, documenting results, and managing data within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). A key component of the position is supporting innovation by preparing lab mixtures for development projects, updating customer specifications, and participating in the development of new products for diverse industrial applications. Candidates must have completed professional training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent, possess strong knowledge of inorganic and organic chemistry, and be proficient in physical-chemical analysis methods.
