Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Project Associate to drive the implementation of the State Office for Health and Social Affairs' (LAGuS) Modernization and Optimization Concept (MOK) in Rostock. The successful candidate will be integral to various sub-projects focused on systematic optimization and digitalization of business processes, organizational structure, and administrative services. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed process analyses and modeling, managing requirements, creating technical and functional concepts, and drafting documentation for technical implementation. You will also develop concepts for the operation of digitalization projects, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including those responsible for information security and data protection. Key qualifications include a relevant university degree (e.g., Informatics or Business Informatics), proven experience in requirements engineering, and implementing organizational change processes. Required Skills

Education

Completed relevant university education (Bachelor or comparable), e.g., in Informatics, Administrative or Business Informatics, or proven equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Experience in requirements engineering
  • Experience in accompanying and implementing change processes
  • Professional experience acquired through relevant primary professional activities (if lacking a formal degree)
  • Desirable: Experience in public administration
  • Desirable: Experience in project management, especially in projects related to digitalization

  • The position is a full-time, fixed-term contract until December 31, 2028. Demonstrated negotiation-level German language skills (comparable to C1 level) are required for non-native speakers. Requires a high degree of responsibility, performance readiness, and flexibility.
