Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities for the production of herd-specific vaccines in the animal health sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating quality processes, ensuring strict GMP compliance (EU-Regulation 2019/6, AMWHV, TierImpfStV), and acting as the Control Manager for batch release. Key responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) according to GMP and ISO 9001, managing deviation/CAPA processes, conducting audits, and serving as the primary liaison for regulatory authorities. The position requires a completed university degree in a natural science field (e.g., Biology, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy), proven experience (3+ years) in a GMP-regulated environment, and strong leadership skills to guide the QA/QC team. This is a highly responsible position offering direct reporting to management and the chance to contribute significantly to global animal health and food safety.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Biology, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a comparable natural science discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Experience in the manufacturing, testing, or release of (animal) vaccines (desired)
  • Experience managing authority interactions, inspections, and audits
  • Professional experience in leading and developing QA/QC teams
