Job Summary

This role requires a skilled Electrical and Automation Technician to work with a renowned client in the specialized mechanical engineering sector in Solingen. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive control, drive, and safety concepts for bespoke machinery, ensuring all designs comply with relevant regulations. Key daily tasks involve executing detailed electrical constructions in EPLAN P8, including creating schematics, parts lists, and layout plans. A critical component of the role is S7 PLC programming using the TIA Portal. Furthermore, you will provide project support during the assembly and in-house commissioning phases, offer technical clarification on proposals, and assist project management in assessing the feasibility and cost of customer requirements. The position also includes providing technical support to customers for troubleshooting, primarily via phone or remote maintenance, with occasional on-site assignments. The ideal candidate must have a relevant technical qualification and excellent proficiency in EPLAN P8 and SIMATIC programming tools.
