Job Summary

This critical role ensures global and local regulatory compliance for pharmacovigilance (PV) activities across assigned countries, specifically Austria and Switzerland (AT/CH). The Local Safety Officer acts as the national qualified person or local safety contact, maintaining a 24/7 PV coverage plan and monitoring regulatory changes to inform the central safety team. Day-to-day tasks involve implementing global PV processes locally, managing PV service providers, conducting quality checks on safety information, and supporting regulatory report generation (e.g., PSURs). The officer will also manage local non-interventional studies (NIS), review local scientific literature for Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs), and lead preparations for partner audits and inspections. This position requires a proactive, analytical professional with strong communication skills and a background in life sciences, pharmacy, or medical sciences, coupled with fluent German and very good English skills, operating within an international, culturally diverse environment.
