Job Summary

This role as a Forging NDT Inspector involves crucial quality control within the final production stage of high-quality forged components. The primary responsibilities include setting up and calibrating Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) equipment, such as adjusting clamping lengths and verifying test fluids and UV lighting using measuring devices. You will perform crack testing by clamping, magnetizing, and spraying components with test fluid, followed by inspection under UV light for crack indications. Defective areas must be marked precisely with chalk, while conforming parts are stamped with a personal inspector stamp. A key task also involves potentially regrinding marked cracks and defects while adhering strictly to quality standards. Candidates should possess manual dexterity, technical understanding, and ideally, experience in a metalworking profession. The position requires reliability and a precise, independent working style.
