Job Summary

This role involves joining a dedicated team focused on implementing sustainable and customized safety technology solutions for clients across the greater Freiburg area, including public institutions, hospitals, and industrial customers. Operating remotely from home, the specialist utilizes a company vehicle to travel to customer sites. Key responsibilities include the timely and professional commissioning of complex safety systems, such as fire alarm and voice alarm systems. The specialist acts as a crucial customer contact during the commissioning phase, conducting acceptance tests, documenting services, and coordinating additional customer requests with project management. A core technical duty involves establishing digital connections between system components and the central office, ensuring the foundation for remote operation and supporting the Remote Service Center in the digitization of remote safety system activation. Success in this role requires a background in electrical engineering and proven professional experience in commissioning and service within safety and building technology.

Required Skills

Education

Electrotechnical Training/Apprenticeship (e.g., Skilled Electrical Worker certification)

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in commissioning, installation, and/or service in the electrotechnical environment
  • Professional experience in safety technology and building technology (ideally)
  • Familiarity with hazard detection systems
  • Familiarity with telecommunication systems and network technology

Languages

German (Fluent)
