Job Summary

This role seeks an Inspection Assistant for Railway Control and Safety Systems (CST) to join DB InfraGO AG in Karlsruhe or Stuttgart. The successful candidate will actively support expert inspectors by performing partial and acceptance testing on CST installations. Daily tasks include conducting practical work on complex rail systems, verifying installed LST components against planning and approvals, performing quality control on relevant documentation, and drafting detailed inspection reports and expert opinions. Key qualifications include a Technician or Master certification, ideally in CST, built upon prior vocational training in an electro-technical field (e.g., Electrician or Mechatronics). Candidates must be highly organized, flexible, and prepared for occasional night, weekend, or holiday work on site.
