Job Summary

This role is a permanent, full-time position for an experienced PLC Programmer to develop and optimize automation solutions for major clients. Day-to-day tasks include the development, adaptation, and optimization of PLC programs for automation systems, alongside commissioning, testing, and diagnosing errors in PLC-controlled systems. The programmer will be responsible for integrating control systems from various manufacturers, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Beckhoff, and collaborating closely with electrical engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver comprehensive automation solutions. Additionally, the role involves creating and maintaining technical documentation and performing software updates and maintenance either on-site or at the plant. Key requirements include a technical background in automation or PLC programming, fundamental knowledge of systems like Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or Step 7, and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. Teamwork, initiative, and flexibility are essential for success in this role.
