Job Summary
As a Safety Engineer specializing in Explosion Protection, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the conformity of products and systems for electrical explosion protection. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing explosion protection concepts with manufacturers, creating and assessing technical documentation, conducting type tests and measurements, and preparing operating instructions and EU declarations of conformity. You will also be responsible for evaluating and testing explosion-protected systems, creating documentation, and conducting pre-commissioning inspections. This role requires proactive communication with manufacturers and notified bodies, along with meticulous project documentation. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in electrical engineering or mechatronics, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous learning in a growing, innovative environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar field; alternatively, completed technician training with comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in conformity assessment of products and systems for electrical explosion protection
- Experience working with standards and evaluating technical documentation
- Experience in approval management (advantageous)
- Experience in applying CAD software (advantageous)
