Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious PLC Programmer to join a medium-sized, globally active mechanical engineering company specializing in advanced welding technology. The core focus of the position is the development and commissioning of cutting-edge automation systems for special machine construction. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed visualizations, configuring and parameterizing various drive inverters, and performing essential service, calibration, and maintenance work on complex industrial plants. A key responsibility involves the independent commissioning of control systems and machinery both domestically and internationally, requiring moderate travel. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a technical qualification in Automation Technology, coupled with at least three years of hands-on experience using Siemens Step7 or TIA Portal. Practical knowledge of visualization software like WinCC Flexible and expertise in drive technology (e.g., Sinamics, SEW) are mandatory.
