Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Defense Technology involves crucial day-to-day tasks centered on the electrical design and documentation of special vehicles. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of electrical systems, including constructing complex wiring harnesses, creating detailed circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and comprehensive wiring lists. A key part of the job involves selecting appropriate electrical components, such as connectors and cables, and developing or modifying necessary test specifications. Furthermore, you will serve as a vital link, coordinating closely with both customers and suppliers. The position also requires supporting project management functions, specifically in project controlling, tracking deadlines, and contributing to project calculation efforts. Candidates should possess a degree or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, ideally complemented by initial professional experience in electrical design and proficiency with EPLAN or similar software.
