Job Summary
This position requires an ambitious engineer to drive the development of concepts and components for high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems within cutting-edge automotive architectures. Key responsibilities include defining the placement, connection, and power supply of wiring harnesses, systematically identifying failure points, and evaluating conceptual alternatives in collaboration with relevant interface partners. The role heavily involves requirements management using DOORS, conducting detailed failure analyses, and implementing optimizations related to packaging, cost savings, and ergonomics. Successful candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, coupled with practical experience in wiring harness development and proficiency in tools such as Siemens NX and e³ Series.
