Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Automation Electrical Engineer to join a team specializing in exciting projects within the shipbuilding and marine technology sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the planning and conceptualization of electrical switchgear systems, including the creation of detailed circuit diagrams, and executing crucial PLC software programming. The engineer will provide internal and external technical consultation, support, and execute commissioning activities both domestically and internationally, and participate in vital test bench runs and sea trials. To succeed, candidates must possess a completed degree or certified technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, coupled with professional experience in both switchgear construction and PLC programming. The position requires fluent German and good English skills, along with a mandatory willingness to travel for assignments.
