Job Summary

This role involves connecting people and technology to advance automotive development by focusing on complex testing projects for renowned OEMs and suppliers. The HIL/SIL Test Engineer will be responsible for developing comprehensive test systems for validating electronic control units (ECUs). Key day-to-day tasks include implementing bus communication protocols (such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet), adapting software functions for specialized testing, and translating customer requirements into structured test processes and plans. A major component of the role is setting up and commissioning simulation environments, specifically Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) systems, while collaborating closely with other development departments. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with initial experience in testing and bus communication, along with proficiency in programming.
